High Voltage Services

We are able to supply & install plant & equipment at voltages up to & including 33,000 volts. With our 26 ton, 6 wheel drive HGV with a hydraulic crane arm we are capable of installing or removing significant loads in conditions where most companies would need extensive civil works.

Earthing Systems

Earthing systems are probably the most important part of any installation but also the most overlooked. A properly designed & installed earthing system is essential for the safe operation of your network not to mention compliance with legislation. Here at Hopley Electrical we are able to provide an earthing design for new installations as well as testing of existing ones. We can install an earthing system for you including any excavation works required & our underground joints are made utilising the FurseWeld exothermic welding system which is now considered best practice for all underground connections..

Electric Vehicle Charging

The UK government's Road to Zero policy, which sets targets for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, will rely heavily on the widespread use of electric vehicles. As we all know from news reports there is a move to ban all petrol & diesel cars from sale by 2040. Currently there are just under 14,000 chargers at just under 9,000 site available in the UK so we have a way to go to meet targets. You can make your site EV ready by installing a charger at your home or workplace. There are currently government grants available to assist with the purchase & installation price of your charger & as OLEV approved installers we can help you with the grant process. Elvi - home or business

The Elvi range is a single output charger available in versions from 3.7kW to 22kW. It can be wall or pole mounted, can be fitted with a charging lead if required & is registered for both home & workplace OLEV schemes

BusinessLine

BusinessLine is available with charging outputs from 3.7kW to 22kW & is available as either socket or fixed lead options. BusinessLine is available as single or double outlet, has remote monitoring capability & load balancing facilities. It is durable, low maintenance & can be wall or pole mounted. BusinessLine is also registered for the OLEV Workplace Charging Scheme grants.

DC Charging

DC charging, often referred to as rapid charging, is the solution to charge in minutes rather than hours. These units are available in outputs from 50kW to 350kW & have multiple options for output connections. Please feel free to call & discuss your requirements.
